Abstract:
Rocket science is easy, it is the getting it done that is hard. To be successful, teams must bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and implementation with passion, purpose, and a great team. These three attributes transcend domain knowledge and reach into the heart of any project that delivers on tangible goals. While launching a product may have a completely different connotation among industry, the means and the how of success relies on the innovative aptitude of people and team. This paper examines winning strategies related to a series of recent rocket flights and relates them to a more general winning strategy regarding engineering productivity.
